And I found this cheap Airbnb cost wise and it seem like he ha= s good reviews so I was like what are the chances that this person would actually turn out to be a scammer I had a gut feeling. But at the same time= , I gave them the benefit of the doubt and booked with them and this person tur= ns out to be a full scammer using Airbnb=E2=80=99s policies in his favor he as= ked me to cancel the reservation and that he would offer me half the price outside th= e Airbnb=E2=80=99s platform and then I have to Zelle him the money which that= kind of raised the red flag in the beginning so I went ahead and canceled the reservation and informed Airbnb and Airbnb has pointed out the policy that = he wrote, which is if the client canceled on his end, he will not be refunded = the money the reservation cost was $1814 that I have used a a coupon of $900 th= at was provided from Airbnb and the rest was payed from my debit card the croo= k goes by the name of Sam on Airbnb he=E2=80=99s from a Syrian descent from D= amascus to be specific and I think he=E2=80=99s operating with a Turkish host that goe= s by the name of Amber total scumbags scammers taking advantage of disabled people a= nd old people this person has repeatedly asked me for my ID, which I refused t= o send him because I know what type of a person he is he would steal my ident= ity and create a whole profile.
