What cuisine? Both Korean. Will they compete for the identical clientele?
After Little Osaka down the road, will the northern stretch of Sawtelle now
become known as "Koreatown West" or "Little Busan?"  EDIT/ADD: It just
occurred to me to add: These two new Korean restaurants will be replacing
formerly "Plan Check" on one side and "Bar Hayama" (a sushi restaurant) on =
the
other side. Both had to close presumably because they were no longer viable=
.
Question is: will these two Korean restaurants do better? Or are they too f=
ar
removed from hopping Sawtelle off Olympic Blvd.? Both are investing a lot o=
f
time and money into the new establishments, I noticed. Bar Hayama was a COO=

place with a huge outdoors fire pit and tables surrounding it -- but there
were complaints about the steep prices. You'd go their with the wife or aft=

hours to celebrate something.
