Twenty-three ships from 13 cruise lines are currently scheduled to embark on their maiden voyages between now and May 2028. All of the 23 ships are newbuilds featuring some of the latest cutting-edge cruising amenities, like waterparks, rollercoasters and ropes courses.

New ships debuting in 2025

Star Princess (4,300 passengers) -- This 5-star Princess Sphere Class ship spans 21 decks and offers more than 29 restaurants and bars. Celebrity Xcel (3,248 passengers) -- As part of the Celebrity Edge series, this 5.5-star rated ship features innovative design elements and elegant dining experiences. Norwegian Luna (3,571 passengers) -- The 5-star vessel is the latest evolution in Norwegian's Prima Class, featuring expansive outdoor spaces, the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, as well as infinity pools and the Glow Court, a digital sports complex with an interactive LED floor. Disney Adventure (6,700 passengers) -- Aboard this 5-star Disney ship, guests can unlock magic for all ages with seven themed areas, Broadway-style shows and immersive experiences. Emerald Kaia (128 passengers) -- This 5.5-star next-generation superyacht is Emerald Cruises' third vessel. The upscale ship offers spacious decks with cabanas, sun lounges and a pool.
