I immediately turned my body sideways so he could pass me. I stopped walking completely so that he could get yards in front of me. After a few moments, I continued walking. Once I got to the next block as I continued walking east on Wilshire, I saw that another woman who stepped ou= t of a building happened to be in front of this same man. He quickened his st= ep so that now he was 1 step behind her! Following yards behind them heading t= o my destination, I noticed that his left hand was now in (what i thought was= ) his front left pocket. I prayed he was not doing what I thought he was doin= g. I have a pretty brisk gait, so I was much closer to them now and I realized that this woman literally, like me, had no idea that this man was 1 step directly behind her. He was unbelievably close, wearing sneakers so she had= NO IDEA he was behind her. As I got closer to them, I thought, if this man ejaculates on this woman, she will be traumatized, and it was clear as I go= t closer that that was his intention with his hand moving around in what I thought was his "front left pocket". My Brooklyn self was not letting that = go down, so I jogged forward and said, "What are you doing?!" (to the man) whi= le putting my arms around the woman's shoulders and quickly pulling her out of harms way, simultaneously saying to her, "Move to the side with me, that ma= n behind you is jerking off." She jumped and said, "You scared me..." then quickly followed with, "oh my God, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!" The guy took off running around the corner. The woman and I talked for a moment= . She was more than grateful. And I reminded her to always glance behind you while walking because you will never hear someone behind you wearing sneake= rs. She agreed and thanked me again.
