Scope of Work: This project includes a remodel of the tire center within Costco, returning some space to warehouse sales floor, as well as parking lot improvements at the tire center area. Interior demolition will include removal of the tire center mezzanine/platform and stairs, removal of some interior doors and frames and (1) roll-up door, demo of select interior wall framing, and sawcut and removal for new openings. Exterior demolition will include removal of several planter boxes, curb, section of sidewalk, some landscaping, and removal of section of asphalt including a speed bump. Minor grading may be required. Some new wall framing is to be constructed inside the tire center and new openings are to receive strongbacks and c-channel. One new egress door to be installed (supplied by Kinship). New AC unit (supplied by Costco) to be installed on the roof with a new AC curb. Concrete infill at two existing openings. Site improvements will include asphalt and sidewalk/curb rep lacement, restriping of the affected parking stalls, replacement of landscaping and irrigation, and relocation of (1) parking lot light.
