Emmet Mielbrech= t is a Senior Product Manager at Simpson Strong-Tie, responsible for holdow= ns, post bases, column caps and embedded concrete connectors. He started at= the company in 1999 as a territory sales manager specializing in residenti= al construction connectors. He joined the product management team in 2008, = where he has overseen the launch of notable products such as the SD Connect= or screw, CBT concealed beam tie connector and the MPBZ moment post base. P= rior to joining Simpson Strong-Tie, Emmet worked in construction for concre= te contractors for five years.
