Leon Osborne Community Service Award Recipient

Each year at the Employee Appreciation event, an annual award is presented = to the employee who was voted on by their peers as someone who served the c= ommunity throughout the past year in exceptional ways. This year, the indiv= idual recognized was IT Specialist Cody Simpson, who is a volunteer at a lo= cal fire department.

“= Leon Osborne spent his 45 years leading Osborne Wood Products engaging in a= nd encouraging local community service. At his retirement, it

seemed fitting to establish an annual award for the members of the Osborne = team who continue to embody that vision for service,” said Jeremy McC= lain, CEO. “I am pleased to see Cody Simpson recognized by his collea= gues for the important work he does with Eastanollee Fire Department.&rdquo= ;

In addition to his recognition, Osborne Wood Products will be dona= ting $500 to the fire department.

Highlights of Annual Employee Apprecia= tion Event

Osborne's annual Employee Appreciation event took place on Tuesday, May 13.= This is a highly-anticipated evening that includes a dinner for employees = and their loved ones, door prizes, recognitions and more.

A few of the highlights from this year's event were the impressive employee= recognitions. Individuals who participated in the local school mentoring p= rogram received certificates, as well as anyone who had exemplary attendanc= e throughout the previous year.
