The Museum of Tomorrow= (Museu do Amanh=C3=A3) is a science museum designed by Spanish neof= uturistic architect, Santiago Calatrava. Open in 2015, the museum educates = visitors about the impending effects of climate change, social collapse, an= d ecological destruction.


Built with many sustainable features,= the Museum of Tomorrow was the w= inner of =E2=80=9CBest Innovative Green Building=E2=80=9D from the MIPIM Aw= ards. It uses water from nearby Guanabara Bay to help regulate temperatures= inside the building. Energy comes from solar spines on the roof, which can= be adjusted to the angle of the sun's rays throughout the day.
