Protecting Yourself and Your Family from Wildfire Smoke<= =2Fdiv>=0A
Wildfire smoke can= =20be harmful, especially for children, the elderly, and those with respira= =74ory issues like asthma. Here are some important steps to protect yoursel= =66 and your loved ones:

    Monitor Air Quality: Check the Air Quality Index (AQI) regularl= =79 for updates on smoke levels in your area. The AQI helps you determine w= =68en it’s safe to go outside. AirNow is a good website to check a= =69r quality in your region.

    Minimize your Exposure: If the AQI is poor, avoid outdoor = =61ctivities. Surgical masks are not effectiv= =65 against wildfire smoke.
