For those of yo= u who are able to attend in person, the Alameda Rent Program is h= olding a Community Meeting where they will be considering changes= to the Rent Control Ordinance Regulation 19-01. Changes = to this particular ordinance would specify that landlords will be= penalized for invalid rent increases with a complete reset of th= e rent to the original value rather than to the AGA (Annual Gener= al Adjustment) at the time of the increase. =

Attending this meeting is an opportunity to share your input, a= sk questions, and get a better understanding of the consideration= s behind these regulations. 

The City's decision cou= ld be highly consequential to local small mom-and pop housing pro= viders.
