In October=2C I sat down with Gina McCarthy (https://urbangreencouncil.us1=
5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=3D263f02c366e4cdee15fa80a0e&id=3D10c383114=
1&e=3D7669d784a9) at our Gala. We reflected on her work as both EPA=
 Administrator and White House National Climate Advisor=2C where she helpe=
d advance some of the most aggressive federal climate action in U.S. histo=
ry.

Two months later=2C the outlook for federal climate action is much differe=
nt. But the push for climate progress is not over=2C and cities like New Y=
ork will have to lead the way. We=E2=80=99ve done it before=2C and we=E2=
=80=99ll continue to do so=2C because the climate isn=E2=80=99t waiting.

No city is better suited to take on the coming challenge than ours. From t=
he passage of our landmark Local Law 97 for existing building decarbonizat=
ion to the city=E2=80=99s all-electric new buildings law=2C the largest ci=
ty in the world to enact such a measure=2C New York has a proven track rec=
ord of implementing innovative solutions to decarbonize buildings=2C and w=
e at Urban Green are proud to have played a key role at every step.

Since 2010=2C we have:
* Educated 65=2C000+ building professionals on the latest developments and=
 best practices for designing=2C building and maintaining sustainable buil=
dings;
* Shaped 90+ laws and regulations; and
* Convened 450+ groups and industry leaders to inform policy.

 reflected on her work as both EPA Administrator and White House National=
 Climate Advisor=2C where she helped advance some of the most aggressive f=
ederal climate action in U.S. history.<br>

Two months later=2C the outlook for federal climate action is much differe=
nt. <strong>But the push for climate progress is not over</strong>=2C and=
 cities like New York will have to lead the way. We=E2=80=99ve done it bef=
ore=2C and we=E2=80=99ll continue to do so=2C because the climate isn=E2=
=80=99t waiting.<br>

No city is better suited to take on the coming challenge than ours. From t=
he passage of our landmark Local Law 97 for existing building decarbonizat=
ion to the city=E2=80=99s all-electric new buildings law=2C the largest ci=
ty in the world to enact such a measure=2C New York has a proven track rec=
