And so it i= s. The path before us becomes steeper and more rugged=2C but also=2C in so= me ways clearer and more in focus. It was always going to have to be each= of us who would need to do the work to move this forward. We hoped for an= d experienced the possibilities of what could happen when the federal gove= rnment worked with us=2C providing funding=2C connections=2C and policy to= make things just a bit easier. =C2=A0


But the truth is this was never going to be easy. There is bea= uty in the struggle. Beauty in your voices=2C your actions=2C and your lea= dership=2C whether it is for your company=2C your community=2C your family= =2C or that quiet=2C peaceful place in nature that speaks to you. The stru= ggle is real=2C and we and they need you now more than ever. And yo= u are not alone.


This is the= moment for California=2C the most pop= ulous and diverse state in this tortured and divided union that is somehow= leading the way on policy=2C action=2C and clean technology to create the= biggest green economy in the world. We can do it=2C we are already= doing it=2C and we can work together to show everyone else just how to ge= t the damn thing done. It=E2=80=99s up to us=2C and now we know.


Now we= know that we need to innovate=2C let= =E2=80=99s go innovate by scaling pilot projects through programs like our= Net Zero Accelerator or in our communities to address core issues like water cons= ervation through our 50L Home initiative.


Now that we know we need to b= uild a green workforce to support that work=2C let=E2=80=99s go train people to lift them up in their current ro= le or in their next one=2C to bring sustainability and resilience into the= work they do every day like we are doing through our C= areer Center and rapidly evolving portfolio of certificate programs.


Now that we know we need to= uplift our communities to improve their health and address environmental= justice=2C let=E2=80=99s get out ther= e in the streets in our communities of need and retrofit homes=2C create a= gency for positive change=2C and build more harmony with nature just like= we are doing through our Green Homes California progra= m.


This is our m= oment=2C and we can=E2=80=99t do it without you. So our ask is the same=2C but increasingly more urgent. We need= your leadership=2C we need your energy=2C your expertise=2C and your comm= itment to building this better future together. Please = join us=2C volunteer=2C support this movement=2C but most importantly=2C engage in something th= at speaks to you=2C and hel= p California lead the way into a more sustainable=2C resilient=2C and equi= table future=2C for all.
