Cleaner Air Greener Schools Program Participation is now open!


We are excited to announce that the USGBC-CA Green Schools Program (https:=
//usgbc-ca.org/programs/green-schools/?mc_cid=3Dd59d2f844f&mc_eid=3DUNIQID=
) has been selected by the California Air Resource Board to collaborate wi=
th schools on improving indoor air quality. Our initiative focuses on deli=
vering targeted education and implementing the necessary upgrades=2C inclu=
ding the installation of indoor air quality sensors=2C air purifiers=2C an=
d upgraded HVAC filters.

We are currently seeking schools to join this impactful program and receiv=
e air quality sensors and purification for up to three (3) classrooms. As=
 part of this initiative=2C all students will have the opportunity to part=
icipate in a 90-minute Sustainability Fundamentals workshop=2C which will=
 cover project details and highlight the essential link between indoor air=
 quality and occupant health.

Additionally=2C teachers will receive valuable resources to support their=
 efforts=2C including a climate board game=2C comprehensive lesson plans o=
n sustainability=2C and free USGBC-CA Annual Membership.

USGBC-CA is on the lookout for trainers and training delivery partners to=
 help us connect and engage our diverse statewide audience on a local leve=
l. Each training session is an opportunity to develop and empower individu=
als on their journey to contribute to the green economy. We especially wel=
come multilingual trainers who can deliver content and involve their local=
 community as well.

If you or your organization currently provides training that aligns with o=
ur mission=2C we=E2=80=99d love to explore adding it to our training portf=
olio. We can promote it on our platform and/or develop co-branded content=
 for scaling statewide.

 of indoor air quality sensors=2C air purifiers=2C and upgraded HVAC filte=

We are currently seeking schools to join this impactful program and receiv=
e air quality sensors and purification for up to three (3) classrooms. As=

icipate in a 90-minute Sustainability Fundamentals workshop=2C which will=
