May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Click th= e banner above for more details on the events at Pali.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and the Mental Hea= lth Team wants to extend our gratitude to all the teachers at Pali. We are= so grateful for their collaboration with us and the way they show up for= our students. Gratitude and kindness is an important part of our mental h= ealth and well-being. Studies have shown that individuals who practice gra= titude regularly have lower blood pressure=2C stronger immune systems=2C a= nd better sleep. One recent study conducted at UC Davis showed that gratit= ude resulted in better heart health and lower inflammation among the parti= cipants in the study. Other research has shown that people who are more gr= ateful have lower levels of stress hormones (cortisol and adrenaline) in t= heir bodies. Being thankful is a simple way to improve your wellbeing. Let= =E2=80=99s all express some gratitude this week as the positive effects ca= n last a lifetime.

Next School Year (2023-24) Bus Registration is Ongoing - However=2C all Bus Registrations made after 4/7/2023 at 7:00am are mo= re likely to end up with Second or Third Choices of Route/Stops due to the= ir Late Registrations=2C and all Registrations are subject to the 6/1/2023= Down-Payment Deadline to see what seats are left/available. 2022-23 PCHS School Bus Program= Schedules (View HERE)

GoPass TAP Cards:= PCHS is participating in the Free TAP Cards program for all students. Fre= e TAP cards are available for all PCHS students. Bring ID and pick on= e up at the Transportation Office.

Competition Buses: All competition bus= es taken to away competitions will involve some cost sharing between PCHS= and the team itself. Teams to pay 10% of all Regular Season & Playoff= Away Games and 100% of all other Away Games. Talk to your Coach for detai= ls.

Late Buses: = Late Buses will now be pay-per-ride for everyone that qualifies to ri= de a Late Bus. A student must be participating in a PCHS sanctioned after= school activity in order to qualify to ride a Late Bus=2C though all ride= rs will be charged $6 for each ride.

2022-23 Opt-Out Deadlines Have= Passed: Families are committed to paying for the entire= remainder of the active busing period and will be unable to voluntarily o= pt-out unless your student un-enrolls from PCHS. Please Note =E2= =80=93 Any periods of time after this deadline passes where PCHS suspends= bus services altogether will not be charged to families=2C and any pre-pa= yments of such periods will be credited back to families for future bus fe= es within the school year.
