Autry Nature Education F= acilities

 

The Autry Natu= re Education Facilities project consisted of a 11=2C709-square-foot renova= tion at the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park and achieve= d LEED Silver certification for commercial interiors in 2018! The project= scope included galleries with upgraded flooring=2C ceilings=2C lighting= =2C and HVAC as well as an outdoor garden with new landscaping and a pond.=

Some sustainability achievements for this project were:
- 25% reduction in lighting power density
- 90% Energy Star qualified equipment
- 75% diversion of construction and demolition debris
- 10% recycled content building materials
- 5% rapidly renewable materials
