Two weeks ago, the women of Los Angeles embarked on a life-changing journey=
 - a journey in Israel as part of the IAC Gvanim Ramon program led by Adi L=
ivytan and Shirli Depas Diner. The women visited Old Jerusalem, the Western=
 Wall, Yad Vashem, Mount Hertzel, Tzfat, Masada, the Dead Sea, and Tel Aviv=
 during their journey. Every site and place they visited left a mark on the=
m - a connection to Jewish sources, a connection to the family story, a con=
nection to their private home and childhood experiences - all were collecte=
d in the personal memoir of each of the participants.

Their experiences and memories from Israel will pass on to their children a=
nd communities. These experiences and memories will enrich the knowledge, t=
ools, and concepts that we will use to educate our next generation to love =
IsraelWe thank the wonderful women who chose to go on this journey to Israe=
l with the Gvanim Ramon program. We thank them for pausing their daily rout=
ines and making the choice to dedicate themselves to the meaningful experie=
nce they had in Israel. We thank them for the many =E2=80=98shades=E2=80=99=
 that each of them brought to the journey - the different opinions and expe=
riences contributed to enriching the experience, to female power at its bes=
t, to the privilege of seeing a different worldview, being able to see smal=
l details, cherishing the good and finding sources and strength for future =
community building.

A special thank you to Shirley Dahpas Diner, the community leader, for her =
remarkable contribution to the success of the trip to Israel and the Gvanim=
 Ramon program in the community. We thank Shirley for her involvement, cari=
ng, and desire to contribute to the women of Los Angeles and the greater IA=

on a life-changing journey - a journey in Israel as part of the IAC Gvanim =
Ramon program led by Adi Livytan and Shirli Depas Diner. The women visited =
Old Jerusalem, the Western Wall, Yad Vashem, Mount Hertzel, Tzfat, Masada, =
the Dead Sea, and Tel Aviv during their journey. Every site and place they =
visited left a mark on them - a connection to Jewish sources, a connection =
to the family story, a connection to their private home and childhood exper=
iences - all were collected in the personal memoir of each of the participa=
nts.</p>

" align=3D"left">Their experiences and memories from Israel will pass on to=
 their children and communities. These experiences and memories will enrich=
 the knowledge, tools, and concepts that we will use to educate our next ge=
