The statistics are staggering: over 1 in 3 women and n= early 1 in 3 men in the U.S. have experienced some form of intimate partne= r violence during their lifetime. The One Love Foundation = ;is on a mission to change these statistics. One Love is a national n= on-profit organization with the goal of ending relationship abuse. We enga= ge young people with powerful films and honest conversation. Through our w= orkshops and peer-to-peer discussions=2C One Love educates young people ab= out healthy and unhealthy relationships=2C empowering them to identify and= avoid abuse and learn how to love better.

Limited reserved parking can be purchased at the Student S= tore for $30.  Parking is very limited and the surrounding neighborho= od only has permitted street parking.  Guests should make transportat= ion arrangements prior to attending Prom.

The Class= of 2022 is lucky enough to have their senior class events in person now!&= nbsp;Unfortunately=2C we do not currently have the funds to hold our amazi= ng events for the amazing senior class. We ask that you=2C the families an= d community=2C consider donating to help the class of 2022 have the best l= ast year possible. Regarding COVID-19 Cases & Mask Mandate

PCHS= Local Positivity Rate is still= above the agreed-upon threshold of 0.05% (0.005).

The t= hreshold is met at greater than 15 New Cases=2C and the week of 5/02 = through 5/06=2C there were 41 New Cases. Therefore=2C Indoor Mask Wearing will continue to be ma= ndated until new data is pulled for the week of 5/16.

The current steps to follow are:

Other resources include our mental health website=2C which lists mental health re= sources for caregivers and students=2C previous recordings of workshops=2C= mindfulness corner=2C and crisis lines as needed. For students=2C we have= a weekly workshop called Spring Into Self-Care=2C that occurs every Tuesd= ay during 7th period in U102. Empowering Life Skills Club by The Bianca Fou= ndation

This= popular club teaches students how to deal with the many challenges facing= our teens today.  In addition=2C students get Community Service Hour= s.  The meeting is led by a certified life coach.

Despi= te school closures=2C Empowering Life Skills has continued to operate with= the weekly meetings held on Zoom.  This club has been essential to h= elp our teens with the added anxiety and depression created by Covid-19.

Paren= ts and students are also welcome join us for our ritual hikes at Temescal= Canyon on Sunday mornings at 10:30am.  We meet in front of the offic= e by the picnic tables.  Hope to see you there!
