TFC Business Class spends the day at O= sborne

On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, Osborn= e Wood Products was pleased to host a business class from Toccoa Falls Coll= ege for a tour of the facility. Professor Madison Jarrard accompanied 14 st= udents as they were given an opportunity to learn about various departments= at Osborne. Marketing Director Jeremy McClain and CEO Leon Osborne facilit= ated the tour followed by a time of question and answer in the employee fit= ness center.

New Wood Species: Poplar

Os= borne is excited to introduce poplar as the newest addition to our available wood types. This= is a paintgrade wood species that is easy to work with and ideal for DIY p= rojects (such as furniture, cabinetry, toys, and other builds). Poplar boar= ds feature a straight grain and are white with green or brown streaks. Thos= e interested in some of our classic table leg, island leg and furniture fee= t profiles will now be able to choose this affordable wood species for thei= r project!
