1. What pulled you into the fast-paced (and occasionally chaoti= c) world of media and entertainment law=E2=80=94and what=E2=80=99s kept you= hooked?

I went to law school with the intention of becoming a publ= ic defender. After an externship, I realized criminal law was not a good fi= t. Dejected, I met with my Career Services Counselor, and she mentioned an = internship at NBCUniversal. I was accepted for a role in the Rights Departm= ent of NBCUniversal and I was instantly hooked. I found my tribe.

2. If your legal career were a movie, what would the title be= =E2=80=94and who would play you?

My favorite legal drama was "Boston Legal," so maybe "LA Legal: Hollywood = Edition." Gina Torres - Jessica Pearson was one of my favorite charac= ters in "Suits."

3. What=E2=80=99s one m= oment in your career where you thought, =E2=80=9COnly in this industry=E2= =80=A6=E2=80=9D?

When I first started my career, I sat in a meditation in which the meditat= or considered the veracity of a defamation claim involving two women from t= he =E2=80=9CReal Housewives=E2=80=9D franchise. These women hurled insults,= on-camera, during a heated argument. I definitely had an =E2=80=9Conly in = show business=E2=80=9D moment.

4. What=E2=80=99s the b= est advice you ever got about surviving and thriving in this business?

Most well-meaning veterans told me to stay away from entertainment=E2=80= =93I didn=E2=80=99t listen =F0=9F=98=8A. The best advice I received was to = work hard, always maintain my composure and professionalism, and embrace un= certainty.

5. If you could swap pl= aces with anyone in entertainment for a day=E2=80=94on set, backstage, or i= n the writers=E2=80=99 room=E2=80=94who would it be and why?

Dana Walden: With her unique expertise in both the business and creative a= spects of entertainment, she must have the most fascinating conversations w= ith Bob Iger and Ryan Murphy.

6. Fun Fact or Guilty Pleasure: What=E2=80=99s one thing most= people don=E2=80=99t know about you=E2=80=94like your go-to karaoke song, = secret snack obsession, or the show you binge when no one=E2=80=99s looking= ?

I have an unhealthy obsession with Haribo Gummy Bears. My favorite show to= binge is the original "Gossip Girl" and my favorite movie to binge is = ; "Clueless" =E2=80=94 I can qu= ote Cher=E2=80=99s lines by memory.
