And= rew, the quote below is from a law firm that engaged me just yesterday to r= epresent them with regard to their renewal/relocation negotiation which is = coming up…next year. This reply is in response to an email wherein I= mentioned their unhappiness with their last broker was due to that they we= re a landlord centric brokerage firm, and one dimensional, transaction only= , focused. Their reply was as follows:
 
“This= was precisely my experience. We are a law office and we know when someone = is fighting versus trying to get to a commission.
 
The bar is = low here but please fight for us on the painful points where there ought to= be flexibility: parking, CAMs, build out, free rents, etc.”
 
I replied that I would gut myself for them, and that I h= ave not done 13 Ironman Triathlons because they were easy…
